Our laboratory and operating address is 51 Holton Road, Holton Heath, Poole, BH16 6LT.

This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the ordinary course of providing fuel testing, polishing, additive supply and gauge calibration services, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors to this website, people who make an enquiry, and contacts at our customer and supplier organisations.
Information you give us through the enquiry form. If you complete the enquiry form on our contact page, we collect your first and last name, your email address, and — where you choose to provide them — your telephone number, the postcode of the site concerned, the service you are enquiring about, and anything you write in the message box.
Information you give us in correspondence. If you email or telephone us, we hold a record of that correspondence and of any information you give us in it.
Information generated in the course of providing services. Where we carry out testing, polishing or calibration work we hold records relating to the job — site and tank details, sample identifiers, test results, reports issued, and the contact details of the people we deal with at the customer organisation. Most of this relates to a business rather than to an individual, but it will normally include named business contacts.
Technical information collected automatically. Our web hosting provider records standard server log information when a page is requested, including the IP address making the request, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser and operating system reported. This is generated by the web server itself and is used for security and to keep the site working.
We do not collect special category data through this website, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.
We use the information described above for the following purposes:

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters from this website, and completing the enquiry form does not sign you up to anything. If that changes we will update this notice and, where required, ask for your consent first.
This website does not use cookies. It sets no cookies of its own, contains no analytics, advertising or tracking technology, and embeds no third-party content that would set cookies on your device. Nothing is stored in your browser's local storage. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver the pages you request, no cookie consent banner is shown.
If we later add anything that does use cookies — for example website analytics — we will update this notice and seek your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing purposes. We share it only where necessary, with:
Where a supplier processes personal information on our behalf, they act on our instructions under a written contract and may not use it for their own purposes.
We aim to keep personal information within the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area. Some of the service providers we use may store or access information outside those areas. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, such as relying on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.
We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for up to two years, so that we have context if you come back to us. Records relating to work we have carried out — including test results, reports and calibration certificates — are kept for at least six years from the end of the relationship, reflecting the period in which a claim could be brought and the value of being able to refer back to earlier results for the same site or tank. Financial records are kept for the periods required by tax and company law. When information is no longer needed we delete it or securely destroy it.
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss or damage. This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, access to our systems is restricted to those who need it, and accounts are protected by strong authentication. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send us anything highly sensitive through the enquiry form.

We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and some rights do not apply in every circumstance — if we cannot do what you have asked, we will explain why.
